The best ideas aren't born in messages. They're born at a table, between people who look each other in the eye. beets! takes you there: close to home, with the right people, over a coffee.

Profiles that say why you should meet.

Skills, sectors, experience and what you're looking for: a cofounder, first customers, an investor, a mentor. On other people's profiles you see what you have in common.

From there, one tap to suggest a one-to-one meetup, with time and place to agree on.

Every meetup starts from an idea to test: a title, two lines, what you need, how many seats. Few people, so everyone gets to talk.

Everyone who joins gets a group chat and a reminder an hour before.

In the half hour before the meetup, anyone who wants can share how far they are: "550 metres away", updated every ten seconds. No navigation, no exact location.

It's for people with an idea who don't want to build it alone: founders, freelancers, developers, designers, people in tourism or food, professionals, investors, mentors, students with a project.

How much does it cost?

Nothing during the beta. Meetups cost whatever the host decides: almost always, everyone pays for their own coffee.

When will I get the invite?

We're opening in groups, city by city. We'll write to the email you leave here with a link to install the app: TestFlight on iPhone, Google Play on Android.

Do I need an account to try it?

Not to look at the map and meetups. To join, propose a meetup or message someone, yes: just a name, email and password.

Who can see where I am?

Nobody, until you choose "Show me" on the map, and even then your location is rounded to a few hundred metres. "On my way" shares it only with people at the same meetup, for an hour at most.

My city isn't there yet: can I sign up?

Yes. Tell us your city: when there are enough people nearby, we'll open there too.
